How Giovanni Galasso Transitioned his class project into a company with the help of Chico State

Enrolling in Management 455

Giovanni Galasso was a normal college student with an idea and dream. As he enrolled in the Web Based Entrepreneurship class in the spring of 2018 he wasn’t really sure how to makes his dream into a reality. With the help of David Rahn and the E-Incubator Giovanni was able to get his project moving and was gaining notice from all over.

With having a strong concept Giovanni decided to enter into two competitions; Chico’s BBC competition as well as Future Fours Business Concept competition in which he placed first and second. Not only this Giovanni was granted $10,000 in funding to get his project going. At this point Giovanni knew he had a great concept and got to work in making this idea into a reality.

Moving Forward

Giovanni decided to move forward with his concept and began making Boala leashes into a reality. Giovanni came up with Boa Leashes has he wanted a dog leash that meet his and his dogs needs for outdoor adventuring. No longer did Giovanni feel as if he was restricting his dog but instead both of them exploring and enjoying the great outdoors together.

Currently working on the perfect prototype, Giovanni has been searching for retailers who would be interested in his product. Giovanni and his team are striving to create “leashes to match the versatility and reliability of the outdoor equipment you know and love today”. Hoping to have a complete prototype by the winter of 2020 they’ve been working closely with dog honors to create the leash that everyone desires. A leash that it enjoyable for both the owner and the dog to adventure with.

Plans for the Future

Being a new company it has been a struggle for Giovanni to build trust with his customers and creating the web presences but it only pushes him and his team to work harder. With the help of the E-Incubator you will be seeing Boa Leashes released to the public soon enough and hearing about them from all over. It will be the change of dog leashes and dog walking for years to come.
